Opening against the backdrop of the roaring 1920’s, a young, ambitious newspaper reporter, “Jesse Helms”, sets out to uncover the truth behind a famous bank robbery gone wrong in 1893, and the myth behind its alleged ring-leader, “Duke Donovan”. Visiting the estate of a reclusive millionaire, “Seymour Redfield”, Helms begins to piece together Donovan's story, discovering more than he bargained for in the process. Helms learns that Donovan, a famous lawman prior to the robbery, turned himself in and was put on trial for his crime. Sent to the Yuma Territorial Prison on a life sentence, Donovan enters the tortuous prison regime, forced to live among the outlaws that he put there. While enduring the hell of imprisonment under the sadistic control of “Warden Logan”, Donovan soon discovers that his bank robbery partner, ”Levi Hardin” , is still alive, and planning to kill Donovan's wife for revenge. When his best friend, "Johnny Boyd", commits suicide after learning he has an incurable disease, "CJ Jennings" is unwittingly left to pick up the pieces, helping a family and a town he abandoned long ago. A loner, CJ has been running from his past for half his life. Released from a 5-year stint in prison for killing a fellow Biker Gang member in self defense, he returns to his small, southern hometown of Banshee, TX where grew up, and soon finds himself confronting ghosts of his youth, problems of the present, and a father he never knew, "Ray Jennings". Helping his former love, "Ricki Locklin" (Johnny's sister), keep the doors of a rundown honky tonk bar called the “ThriftStore Cowboy” open, the two soon reignite old passion as they struggle to avoid bank foreclosure at the hand's of Ricki's ex-husband, "Wade Locklin", and his scheming partner, "Gilley Daniels". CJ's life becomes more complicated when he learns that Ricki's son, "Brody Locklin", may actually be his own. Striving to become the father Brody never knew, events come full circle when CJ's own estranged father reconnects with him in an attempt to make amends for a life lost. * THE GUNDOWN In 1889, a reclusive gun-for-hire, "Cole Brandt", travels the barren Arizona desert bringing wanted fugitives to justice... dead or alive. He drifts from town to town, hunting down and seeking revenge on the men who killed his wife and child five years prior. When his travels take him to the lawless town of Dead River, he signs on to protect The Majestic Saloon, owned by "Thomas Morgan" and his wife, "Sarah". Brandt soon meets a beautiful, innocent prostitute, "Cassey May", who works at The Raven, the local brothel and hotel. "Travis McCain", the owner of The Raven, is an outlaw who has taken control of Dead River, leaving the residents to live in fear of McCain and his rouge group of men. McCain soon learns about the relationship between Brandt and Cassey May, and threatens Cassey May with her life. Cassey May defies McCain, escaping The Raven, seeking protection with Sarah and Brandt at The Majestic Saloon. LAST WILL www.lastwillfilm.com - view the trailer William has completed work on the feature film LAST WILL. Directed by by Brent Huff, William co-stars with Tatum O'Neal, Tom Berringer and James Brolin. He plays an attorney (Michael Palmer), the brother of Tatum O'Neal's character (Hayden Palmer Emery) who is framed for the murder of her wealthy husband (Frank Emery), played by Tom Berringer. William's character goes to court to help solve the case and get Tatum's character off the hook. |
